About: One of  the smallest washing stations in Rwanda, "Shyira" is focsued on producing top quality micro lots. Cherries are collected from producers in the surronding area between 2,000-2,400 masl. During the process, the workers perform “ikinimba,” which consists of singing five songs while dancing and stomping on the coffee to clean off the last of the mucilage, yielding more sweetness in the coffee.
