About: Lacerda family bought this farm 60 years ago to produce vegetables but also started growing coffee since the 80's. Their produces were always awarded in the local agricultual contests for its quality. In 1998, they began to learn about specialty coffee and started experimenting with processing and varieties. Their work has been an inspiration to other farmers. The Lacerda Family currently hold the Coffee of the Year title.
