This natural lot from Mara Coffee in Narok, Kenya offers a vibrant and aromatic expression of one of the country's newest coffee growing regions. Grown at 1,600 - 1,800 MASL, Ruiru 11 and Batian cherries are carefully sorted, fermented in sealed barrels for four days, and dried slowly on raised beds. The extended fermentation builds fruit intensity while preserving clarity and structure. The result is a lively cup with bright cranberry acidity, juicy blood orange sweetness and delicate coffee blossom florals.

Flavour notes: Cranberry, Blood Orange, Coffee Blossom

Origin Story

Founded in 2019, Mara Coffee was established from the ground up near the town of Lolgorien, just a few kilometres from the world famous Masai Mara. While the region offers excellent conditions for coffee cultivation, coffee production is still relatively new here. Traditionally, the local Masai people have been pastoralists rather than coffee growers.
Today, Mara Coffee is helping build a coffee culture in the region. Alongside producing natural coffees, the farm operates its own nursery to ensure a stable supply of seedlings and distributes young coffee trees to neighbouring farmers. By creating new opportunities for local communities while investing in quality-focused production, Mara Coffee is contributing to the future of coffee in Narok.

Process & care

Our sourcing philosophy

Every coffee has a story. Every cup connects people. Sourcing coffee is not just about logistics and contracts. It’s about people, patience, and purpose. Every bag of green coffee represents someone’s work, someone’s story, and a shared pursuit of excellence.

Our relationships are built at Origin. We create partnerships built on respect, shared goals, and good coffee. We believe the best coffees come from long-term partnerships. Many of our producers have worked with us for years, refining the characteristics of the coffee we seek. These relationships are built on mutual respect and open communication. Travelling to visit our producing partners is key to nurturing relationships that matter.

Consistency and quality

From origin to roastery, every step is about consistency. Every shipment we receive is cupped and compared against its pre-ship sample to confirm that the coffee matches the quality and profile we expect. It’s a process that demands time and focus, but it’s what ensures every batch of Deluca coffee delivers on flavour and reliability.
