This Natural lot from the Frinsa Collective in West Java delivers a vibrant, fruit-driven cup with tropical sweetness and lifted florals. Grown at 1400-1700 masl, a mix of Andungasari, Bor Bor, Kartika and Ateng varieties contributes depth and complexity. Coffee is rinsed, sorted, and depulped the same day it’s delivered, and fermented for 18 hours. It's washed to remove the mucilage, then dried on patios for 7-10 days, allowing the fruit character to develop while maintaining clarity. The result is a lively cup layered with ripe melon sweetness, bright pineapple acidity and delicate hibiscus aromatics.

Origin Story

The Frinsa Collective is built around a family owned estate in West Java run by Wildan Mustofa. The collective processes coffee from neighbouring small producers alongside fruit grown on the Frinsa farm. Known for their progressive mindset, Wildan and his family experiment with a wide range of processing styles including naturals, honeys and controlled fermentations that are still uncommon in Java.
Wildan oversees farming and processing, his wife Atieq manages contracts and logistics, and their son Fikri leads cupping and quality evaluation. Together they are helping highlight the potential of West Javan coffees while supporting surrounding producers through careful processing and shared quality standards.

Our sourcing philosophy

Every coffee has a story. Every cup connects people. Sourcing coffee is not just about logistics and contracts. It’s about people, patience, and purpose. Every bag of green coffee represents someone’s work, someone’s story, and a shared pursuit of excellence.

Our relationships are built at Origin. We create partnerships built on respect, shared goals, and good coffee. We believe the best coffees come from long-term partnerships. Many of our producers have worked with us for years, refining the characteristics of the coffee we seek. These relationships are built on mutual respect and open communication. Travelling to visit our producing partners is key to nurturing relationships that matter.

Consistency and quality

From origin to roastery, every step is about consistency. Every shipment we receive is cupped and compared against its pre-ship sample to confirm that the coffee matches the quality and profile we expect. It’s a process that demands time and focus, but it’s what ensures every batch of Deluca coffee delivers on flavour and reliability.
