Origin Story

Across the Haru landscape in Yirgacheffe, coffee grows among smallholder garden farms and wild coffee trees that have sustained local communities for generations. Around the villages, coffee is cultivated alongside food crops, forming part of a diverse and fertile landscape that has earned Yirgacheffe its reputation as one of Ethiopia's finest coffee-growing regions.
At Haru Suke, ripe cherries from hundreds of small producers are carefully processed using traditional washed methods before drying slowly on African raised beds. Combined with the region's exceptional altitude and heirloom varieties, this careful approach produces coffees celebrated for their clarity, sweetness and distinctive floral character.
