A trained environmentalist, Tesfaye Bekele is a pioneering figure in Guji coffee. After devastating wildfires destroyed more than 5,000 hectares of forest in 1998, he was appointed to lead regional reforestation efforts. Tesfaye introduced coffee as a long-term solution, distributing seedlings across the area despite widespread scepticism about the five-year wait before harvest.

In 2000, Tesfaye founded Suke Quto Farm to lead by example. The farm quickly proved that coffee could restore the land while supporting local livelihoods. Today, Suke Quto stands as a benchmark for sustainable, high-quality coffee production and helped shape Guji into one of Ethiopia’s most respected growing regions.

Every coffee has a story. Every cup connects people. Sourcing coffee is not just about logistics and contracts. It’s about people, patience, and purpose. Every bag of green coffee represents someone’s work, someone’s story, and a shared pursuit of excellence.

Our relationships are built at Origin. We create partnerships built on respect, shared goals, and good coffee. We believe the best coffees come from long-term partnerships. Many of our producers have worked with us for years, refining the characteristics of the coffee we seek.These relationships are built on mutual respect and open communication. Travelling to visit our producing partners is key to nurturing relationships that matter.
Consistency and quality

From origin to roastery, every step is about consistency. Every shipment we receive is cupped and compared against its pre-ship sample to confirm that the coffee matches the quality and profile we expect. It’s a process that demands time and focus, but it’s what ensures every batch of Deluca coffee delivers on flavour and reliability.
Shipping & Dispatch

We offer flat-rate shipping across Australia and free shipping on orders over a certain value (shown at checkout).

  • Free Shipping for orders over $60
  • Parcel Post: $8
  • Express Post: $15

Orders are shipped on Tuesday's and Thursday's.

Orders placed by 2pm on Monday and Wednesday will be shipped next day, otherwise your order will be sent on the next shipping day.

We ship via Australia Post.

Parcel Post usually takes 2 to 4 business days after dispatch.

Express Post usually takes 1 to 2 business days.

Regional areas may take a little longer.
