Brew with Clever Dripper
What you’ll need
Filter-roast coffee
Scale
Server/mug
For more detailed steps…
Boil a kettle of fresh tap water (use filtered water or bottled water if you do not have access to soft water).
Weigh 12g (for 1 serving) or 24g (for 2 servings) of fresh coffee.
Grind it (close to the coarseness of pink salt).
Fold the bottom and the side edge of the paper filter before opening and placing it into the Clever Dripper.
Place the Clever Dripper on top of a server.
Thoroughly rinse the paper filter with hot water until the papery smell is gone.
Drain the rinse water from the server.
Place the Clever Dripper on the scale and carefully add the freshly ground coffee. Shake gently to flatten the surface.
Tare the scale.
Start the timer and gradually pour 200g of boiled water (1 serving) or 390g (for 2 servings) over the course of 20-30 seconds. Make sure to pour evenly over the entire coffee bed.
Use the back of a spoon to gently break the crust, then put the lid on top.
At 3 min mark, gently stir the surface once again and drain into the server.
Once draining stops, discard the spent coffee and the paper.
